A useful download.
A clear explanation.

This notice explains data collected on knowledgebase.dev, a resource operated by HelpCenter Solutions Ltd., the company behind HelpCenter.io.

Updated September 5, 2026.

When you request the kit

We store the email address you provide, your selected project type, your template settings, request and download timestamps, and campaign labels such as the source of the link you followed. This information is stored in our Neon Postgres database to provide the requested download and understand how the resource is used. We do not ask for a password or payment information.

Optional email updates

The download does not require subscribing to marketing. If you separately select the optional checkbox, we record your choice, the wording version, and the time of your consent. You can withdraw that choice by contacting us or using an unsubscribe link in any marketing message. Downloading alone does not opt you in.

Browser storage and site measurement

We use session storage to remember your template choices and campaign labels during your visit. The demo uses local storage for the color theme you choose. We count page views, downloads, and HelpCenter.io link clicks to understand the funnel; these counters do not contain your email address or a persistent visitor identifier.

Our server and Cloudflare process request information such as IP addresses to serve and protect the site. The application uses IP addresses temporarily in memory for rate limiting and does not store them in the leads database. The application does not use advertising trackers.

How long we keep it

Download lead records are retained for up to 24 months after the last request unless you ask for deletion sooner. Unsubscribed marketing preferences and aggregate counters may be kept as needed to respect your choice and measure the service. Operational infrastructure logs follow the providers’ and our operational retention settings.

Your choices and contact

You can ask to access, correct, or delete your download information, or withdraw marketing consent, by emailing [email protected]. Include the email address used for the download so we can find the right record.

The HelpCenter.io privacy policy provides more information about the operator, processing, and your rights. You can also download the public source from GitHub without submitting this form.
